Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team. As a DevOps Engineer you will work on highly scalable systems focusing on SQream BigData processing pipeline, ingesting billions of daily events and making sure SQream's systems and infrastructures scale and perform at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Support building SQream's Infrastructure and BigData DevOps roadmap.
  • Research and implement new/best DevOps practices and processes including automation, CI/CD and service discovery
  • Implement tools and procedures in support of Production environments, Deployment and CI/CD infrastructure
  • Together with teams of developers, SRE and automation engineers, architect solutions that increase efficiency, scale and reliability across SQream architecture
  • Maintain multiple, consistent environments (Development, Test, Production QA and Production)
  • Enforce security principles and practices as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as DevOps Engineer
  • Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP
  • Experience working with Cloud Production environments
  • Experience with containerized environments and microservices (K8S / ECS)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools & implementations
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as a Code) tools such as Terraform
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


Bonus points for:

  • Previous experience as a Tech Lead
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring technologies and services
  • Experience with other cloud technologies
  • Experience with NoSQL DBs (Redis / MongoDB)
